San Diego Electric Inc has definite purpose contactors, new, used and obsolete.

These "definite purpose" contactors are used in numerous applications. We have a wide amperage range of selection. Like the name implies; from a specific purpose to general operations, here at San Diego Electric, we carry it or can find it for you.

They have a specific purpose by which its design is used in the circuit which requires it. It can have anywhere from (1) pole up to usually no more than (6) poles. Their coils are available in 24v to 480v. It may have any current range but we typically carry from 10A to 200A units as stock.

Name brands like: Square D, Arrow Hart, Furnas, Siemens, Cutler Hammer;

Please when asking us for assistance and make a couple of notes about your unit that will help us.
a. What is the FLA rating; (Full Load Current)?
b. What is the voltage of the coil being used? (Not the voltage of the motor, even though the two may be the same)
c. How many poles or contact sets does it have? (Usually this corresponds to the number of wires at the top [which may be labeled as L1, L2, or L3])
