Class J fuses........

Name brands like: Bussman, Gould Shawmut, Littelfuse, Tron to name a few;

A time delay current-limiting protection in a small package. While their most common use is in circuits with high inrush current, their small size makes them ideal for use in general-purpose circuits where space is at a premium.

Applications for this fuse can be:

a. Fused combination motor controllers to provide IEC type 2 (no damage) motor branch circuit short circuit and

ground fault protection.
b. Motor control centers.
c. Transformer Protection.
d. Protection for UL listed series rated molded case circuit breaker panels.
e. General purpose circuits, mains, feeders, and branch circuits - especially when space is at a premium.
